uncontrolled gout condition is
call chronic gout, don't play play, if it is not taken care of, the
uric acid will form tophi (white chalky stone) in between joints
like toes, fingers, and even kidney.... if the tophi gets big
enough to affect your life, doctor will cut you up to remove
them... i suggest that you see a specialist in a hospital, they are
not really that expensive as many people who would thought so, as
compare to the damage that gout will bring to your health... most
gp doctor will only issue you very conservative dosage of medicine
required like allopurinol, colchicine, and some lousy
pain killer.... if you have gout attack frequenly, seek help from
specialist before permanent damage is done, they will be the best
person to advise you on the dosage of allopurinol after some test,
usually triple the amount a gp doctor will advise you, request for
arcoxia ( nsaid pain killer) for standby, one tablet of 120mg last
you 24 hrs, unlike others half past six pain killer, after taking
lot's of it, you will be awarded with gastric pain, and the swollen
joints still not any better....get referral letter from polyclinic,
first and subsequent consultation about $30.
