There are relief medications, there are flu vaccines, but no
such thing called flu medicine. How would you even define a
flu?
There is no flu medicine. For bacterial infections, antibiotics
might be prescribed.
For viruses, there's not much a cure because you have to kill
your own cells in order to kill the virus.
Flu is known as influenza.
They are caused by Orthomyxoviridae.
Transmission of flu from avians and pigs to humans is rare
because the influenza viruses bind to different receptors in
different parts of the body of a different species.
However, pigs have receptors for both but no reports have
shown that eating pork increases one's chance of contracting flu
infection compared to consuming birds.
