Hey. Recently I went to a doctor for pills to delay my period
for my vacation. At first she gave me some to be taken 3 times
daily, till I'm back from holiday. But then just before I went to
collect the medicine at the counter, she called me back into the
room and offered to give me Progyluton which to be taken only once
daily. I came home and googled to realise that there's no
information about Progyluton being used to delay period.
Anyone here used/using this to delay period before?

The doctor gave you Progyluton not for the purpose of delaying
period - It is used to regularize your periods. Since you had taken
some pills before to delay your period while you are going on a
vacation, it is only normal for the doctor to prescribe Progyluton
to you to normalize your periods after your vacation.
