Kidney and the anus share the same function, they are the end
organs, but the importance of kidney over anus is that once the
kidney shuts down, the blood becomes toxic over a few hours to a
day, while the anal shut down may take a few days before it
happens...
Once both the kidneys get knocked out, the whole body system will
fail, the heart, the brain, the lungs, the adrenals, the skin, the
eye and even the endocrinal organs. Uremic deposit throughout the
skin and the mucosa leading to itchiness and pigmentation of the
body, that's why we usually see the sallow appearance of the
patient's face and body.
Basically every organ has its importance, but kidney kinda tops
almost everything as almost any diseases has something to do with
the kidneys...
