MYSTERY
Most children undergo a common operation known as tonsillectomy and
adenoidectomy. Such tonsils function as the first line defence in
capturing bacteria from the food or air particulates and destroying
them before it starts to colonize the rich oral mucosa. So once it
is removed, parents often get worried and asks the doctor whether
will the child be more prone to getting infected. So what do you
think? Yes or no? [/b]
Logically, should not be getting infection.
But I think medically should be yes.
