This is my first time attempt so it may not be a good one,
compared to the others.
After the whole day of training in the Nee Soon Camp, the
recruits are asked to bring down their water bottle from their bunk
and was given 3 mins to fall in in the parade square by their 3rd
Sergeant Gay Kiam Soon. He instructed the Lance Corporals to fill
up their water bottle to the full amount. He said, "LCP, better
drink up because you are going for your ROD tomorrow so drink lots
and lots of water." The Lance Corporals keep drinking until the
whole bottle is left with nothing. 3rd Sergeant Gay Kiam Soon said
"I can assure you that tomorrow, you will be at your top form for
your ROD. And tomorrow, your girlfriends will be very proud of you
that you have become a real man, and so tomorrow get your ass on
tomorrow and fall in at the parade square at 6am for your PT eh but
wait, tomorrow got PT right? Ah good, go fill up your water bottle
again. As you know, I'm a good sergeant of yours I don't want you
to die of dehydration. And also, lights out at 10pm today. Because
I'm a good sergeant of yours and I want you to get plenty of
sleep."
The next morning, 3rd Sergeant Gay Kiam Soon screamed at the
Lance Corporal "I THOUGHT LIGHTS OUT AT 10PM LAST NIGHT, HOW COME
ALL OF YOU FALL IN LIKE STUPID DEAD MONKEYS!!!??? AND YOU LCP TAN
WEI JIE, ARE YOU GOING TO SHOW YOUR GIRLFRIEND WITH THAT KIND OF
MONKEY FACE???!!!! CALLING YOUR GIRLFRIEND LAST NIGHT IS
IT???!!!!!"
Lance Corporal Tan Wei Jie replyed: "Eh Sergeant, this is your
fault leh. You yesterday tell us to drink so much water during the
water parade until we all have to go to the toilet in and out for
the whole night. How can we sleep well if we drink so much water
last night. You let us sleep until about 10.30am so that we got
full energy for the ROD later on."
3rd Sergeant Gay Kiam Soon screamed: "YOU THINK WHAT, ROD
ALREADY THEN YOU TREAT THE CAMP AS PASIR RIS CHALET IS
IT???!!!!!"
Lance Corporal Neo Hong Xuan replyed: "Eh, we didn't treat the
camp as a chalet leh. Take a look at the bunk, no air-con, no place
for BBQ, no TV, no handphone. Our breakfast can ask the WO to
deliver the food to our bunk"
3rd Sergeant Gay Kiam Soon screamed again: "YOU THINK WHAT, NEE
SOON CAMP IS RITZ-CALTON HOTEL IS IT!!!!!?????"
