As I grow older, i discovered singapore still have many poor people. Sometimes i feel this world is unfair, some pple r struggling with their daily basic needs like food while others r driving big and luxurious cars and living in big houses. really pity the poor pple in singapore. i think more should be done to help the poor. one way is to deduct more money from those rich pple's salary and then distribute these money equally among the poor. like that will definitely save many poor pple and make everyone's wealth more equally distributed.

according to your dat "one way", is by deducting money equally from all rich pple's salary, we may have caused difficulty to those essential rich pple who is in real needs of supporting their family (perhaps a disabled father, a paralysed mother, 2 mentally challenged children, a low-educated wife)

so how? no way to check man, unless a new system is put in place to countercheck those excess rich Vs essential rich

Bangulzai, maybe u r right. i should have defined the difference between excess rich and essential rich. I referring to those excessively rich pple. these r the pple who ought to share their money with the poor. one day, the poor will overthrow the rich!!! and this society will be equal. this will be an ideal society. Equal wealth for everyone!!!

no such thing..as far as what i see. every morning see poor old man selling tissues. and poor old woman climbing overhead bridge (maybe to go work). nobody buys from old man.

got rich people donate money, but poor ppl are usually uneducated esp the old ones, they prob duno where to go for financial help, so money wouldnt reach these ppl.

in the ideal world everything is shared more fairly, but to be realistic we cannot expect that.

And the rich people in singapore also got donate their money to charity and help the poor mah.

And the pap government won't allow such a thing to happen because their ministers are damn rich. They won't allow the poor people to take their money
