Actually, if I'm not wrong, there's a type of Russian military
helicopter which does have ejection seats. When the pilot presses
the ejection button, the rotors get blown off first. A few seconds
later, the pilot himself gets blown out of the c*ockpit
safely.
I don't remember the exact name and model of the helicopter, but
I'll post it in Military Nuts if I do find an article on it.
