sony display is the best,but the price very steep.

Acer's parts like rojak like that lah. The parts are not manufactured by them,it's done by numerous other companies so it might not last as long as Toshiba. Laughing

Samsung have just ventured in laptop making not long ago,so it might not be as eastablished. Price and Quality is good. But if u are looking for example; a battery or power adaptor, u go to funan n simlim, it'll be quite difficult to find. Laughing

last time ASUS first launch alotta ppl were skeptical
but it maintained well and it's now picking up

one common problem is.......heat up very fast and the heat does not get expelled effectively, causing ur laptop to sizzle and u can fry an egg on it Cool

Toshiba and IBM rated the 1st in the world in terms of dont know what.

Performance wise, i am using a Toshiba Satellite M30. forced to buy because ngee ann wants its wireless to be fully utilise.. paid $3147.

the performance no good. some times may lag. CD drive also many times cannot read or burn. already one year, i gota reformat 2 times, change keyboard and CD drive once.

last week ran a CD. the comp hang as expected. the Cd drive was spinnign at max speed.. i think the drive feeling "high".. ahh!!

i think Acer laptop better. got wireless everything only les than $2000.

Dell also cannot.. no good. got a friend, using dell. one day when not using, the whole CD drive fell out Laughing

Mac iBook G4 (1 year old)

Internet Browser (Safari) beats IE hands down, no anti virus software but my mac still smooth as ever without any virus infection.

Only complain- not many games can play on mac, n windows compatibilty problems. No money buy virtual PC. Sad

i think is because, mine is the 1st batch to be assembled, naturally, got more technical problems.. i also never neglect or abuse my com. never on for too long, download any wrong things, or whatever. me unfortunate victim..

now, the system recovery to earlier time function cannot be used. always says :system recovery incomplete etc etc: now give headache.

Demand a fresh piece of System Recovery CD-rom.
They have to give it to you because it's their fault for not programing or burn the CD properly.
