Why does the maid keep on blaming the guard?
Was there evidence that she, the dog and the guard were at the
lift lobby?
Did only the maid and the guard enter the lift, with the dog
outside?
Or was the maid and the dog only at the lift lobby, the guard
already inside the lift, and only the maid entered?
The guard close the door, hanky-panky started.
The third floor call for the lift and the dog got hanged.
The maid can only says its the guard's fault, because she cannot
give the full story.
Just my 2cents worth, exploring the other possibilities.
