For example, sony experia Z2 is more expensive than HTC Desire 610. Even though the montly subscriptions for all the 5 plans of both phones are the same, but the there's a huge difference in the phone price?

HTC Desire 610 cost $00.00 for the Lite plan but Sony Xperia Z2 cost $488. Why is there such a huge difference?

Apart from the camera quality and the games available in the phone, what make the Sony brand worth so much?

I'm buying a new phone so I just wanna make some comparisons. Because I don't really play games, listen to music and I take pictures when necessary, but I download a lot of things and i use apps like instagram, facebook all the time. I just need to know whether it's better for me the cheaper ones or slight more expensive ones??

some times is due to subsidy from the manufacturer. Time to time there are deals going between device manufacturer and telco to promote certain item which is why there are deals from time to time also. On top of that there are also times where the telco is the one who do the subsidy to attract consumers. There are many factors but those are some of the example.

sony always expensive one. this is why it going down hill. a new walkman cost $1k plus? how many people has those HD ears to listen to HD music? just like many people has this HD eyes to see HD pictures? it a pity for sony since the old bosses passed away no one in the rank can match them. And it a matter of time apple follow the same path.
