Hey Guys need yr help on Android Wireless Tether app

i have a andriod phone and i am using a 3g phone plan with 2 gb usage per month,

i currently saw this Andriod wireless tether app in Andriod market and download it and use, and its work perfectly for my laptop. The thing is that i check my data usage on my 3G the data usage still remain the same [ Checked a few times but the same amt ] before i install this andriod wireless tether app.

What is going on? Cause i tot when i use the Andriod wireless tether app, the usage will also add on to the 3G usage?

Can someone who have use this software care to share their experience with me?

Will i get extra charges? as i know i download alof of stuff through that Android Wireless Tether app but the 3G data usage never change?

Yes it will add on to the 3G usage.

Got alot of factors

*ensure that the phone is not connected to wifi, which means it's probably tethering the wifi connection

*ensure the laptop is not connected to wifi

If you are checking data usage thru the telco's website, or thru their custom app made for them, it takes quite a long while for the data usage thing to refresh. I won't be surprised if it takes 12-24 hours.

So what you read now, could be 12 hours ago. So, you'll need to wait till tomorrow to read today's one.

Don't really give a damn about monitoring usage anymore, because the info takes forever to update, and unless I know i've used like gigazillionbytes worth, I might be bothered to check.
