Hi,
I purchased a pair of Aztech Homeplug 200Mbps (HL110E), S$150+,
and it worked fine for about 2-3 months. That time, i used 10Mbps
Broadband from SingTel and got around 9Mbps.
After 3 months, both Homeplug kept restarting and also showed
red/orange light for the connection. The manual says red/orange
light indicate good/medium quality of connection. But at red/orange
light, can't use internet at all. Had to restart both Homeplug
again n again and it came back to green light, in which internet
can use.
Recently, i've changed to 100Mbps fiber optic and the Homeplug
200Mbps only can give 50Mbps. Service center said it could be due
to some noise induced from the powerline and recommended to buy the
latest model Homeplug 500Mbps with noise filter (HL115EP), S$160
per pair. I bought again the new model and managed to get
100Mbps.
The new models was ok for about 1 month and started to show same
fucking red/orange light problem again. Keep restarting n can't use
it anymore.
Anyone has problem with Aztech Homeplug? Am i the only stupid
one that bought Aztech Homeplug twice? Any recommendation for
better Homeplug?
