Singtel claims that they service is "lag-free connection and
lower latency". Maybe those using Singtel's broadband can comment
on this.
If you have SCV and Starhub's mobile plan, it is better to go
for Starhub's broadband. You will get discount for all your plans.
BTW, Starhub is giving "FREE home phone line" (VoIP). This give you
an option to terminate your residential phone line, save $25 every
3 months.
Starhub also give "FREE SafeSurf" and "FREE SafeShield". DO NOT
let them activate those 2 shits. The more filter(s) that you have,
the more laggy you will get. Telcos don't understand gamers, we
want speed and not protection.
Some modems will aslo cause the latency issue. I have this
DPC3925, while I'm playing Sudden Attack (FPS), so fucking lag.
