QX179R SG Go to the system control panel, hardware tab. Click on the device manager button. Click on the + next to keyboard. Delete the entry for the external keyboard. Reboot. See if the laptop keyboard acts normal. If so, try the external keyboard again. Windows should reload the drivers.
dragg SG under control panel, device manager, keyboard i see only standard p/s2 keyboard. you want me to uninstall this, then reboot?
dragg SG i plug in the keyboard. thats it.i thought it'll work just by connecting.but obviously it isnt working.
QX179R SG then I'm suspecting that It is the 'USB to PS/2 convertor' which is causing the problem cause not all keyboards/mouse will work with them.
