Usage of the laptop will be some internet browsing everyday,
very little amount of gaming, movies/dramas/songs.

As light as possible - will carry it around quite alot.
Is it possible to get an Asus laptop with a spec something like
this within that budget?
Would something with a slightly smaller screen and a little more
expensive be OK?
Take a look at U36JC.
It will cost around $1.4k and 13.3" but fufilling the rest of the
specs. Extremely light too.
