Hi guys. Long time no bother you already, but I got new problem with my lappy. Please help. It say " Microsoft.Net Framework version 2.0 is required to continue. This software is available for free download at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/ "

I click to download and the only thing nearest to it was " Micorsoft.Net work 3.0 redistributable package. I click to down load and run it. It say I already had a newer version and asked that I go to repair my version instead. I did what it say but the same problem appear. I tried three rounds already.

Can someone help?

some times the dot net ecounter some problems saying that there is some problems here and there. i encountered this problem too. all is well but the software kept saying dot net error. just remove all dot net version down to version 2 and install latest dot net. the lastest version will include dot net version 2. good luck.

download dot net 3.5sp1 then remove dot existing dot net 3.5 and 2.0

after that install dot net 3.5sp1

Acutally, I downloaded leow. I also remove my version 4. but I cannot find the ver 3.5. Where is it actually ?

Sorry for the late reply, after the scan it said there's no issues.

What operating system is it running now?

Do what Dave said. Sorry for the quotes and late reply. I can't do much with this frequent drop of connections in Sgforums

If the issue persists, let's try to manually reinstall .NET Framework 3.5.1 in Windows 7.

Reinstall .NET Framework 3.5.1
====================

1) Type: features in the Start search box.
2) Select "Turn Windows Features on or off" and click Enter.
3) Uncheck "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1".
4) Click OK and restart the computer.
5) Repeat step 1) and step 2).
6) Re-check "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1".
7) Click OK and restrat the computer.

Then see if the issue persists.

Hi. Thanks for the response. well, I turn off the feature and try to re-install but it keep prompting me that I had Version 3.X and that I need to turn it off. When I go to the control panel, I do not see this version 3.

seems like ur dot net is screwed. download dot net clean up tool to remove all existing dot net and reinstall. good luck.

can be more specific like what to delete and what to download to re-installl ? I am not that it savvy
