Windows Vista to Win 7 wont be lost. As its an upgrade.
U can choose to upgrade or do full clean installation.
Try control panel there, under Systems, is there an option to
let u upgrade or not.
If not, try downloading the starter pack or whatever ah
Only WinXP requires full clean installation.
The good news is that programmes still can function according to
specifications.

can liao.
