Help, subwoofer not working?

Hi guys, I just got myself a set of Creative Inspire T3200 speakers. However, the sub-woofer is not working when I plug into my Acer Aspire 5670 laptop.

The sub-woofer works fine if I use my Ipod. Anyone can help me solve the problem? Is there any settings I need to configure? Thanks!

Switch the equaliser setting on your ipod to flat, and try it on your ipod again. If your subwoofer doesn't work this time, its working.
