hi guys. I’ll looking to build a Phenom ii X6 1055T gaming pc that is not more than 1.7k. Pls advise on the parts and prices Smile btw some requirements:
1. Motherboard must be ATX.
2. Graphics best be a evga Gtx 260 core 216 sc and above
3. Should i get the GX 650 or M12i?

Hmmm is there a 500gb WDC hdd that costs less than 80 bucks? cause i'm thinking of adding a pair of speakers and creative Sb card too. Anyway does the giga mobo come with some sort of oc abilities? What difference is there between the so called Black edition 1090T and the Purple 1055T ah? thanks:)

Any mobo these days come with OC capabilities. It just matters how well. My budget MSI 785G mobo can OC pretty well.

Most full-size ATX 890 series mobos can support CFX. It would help to use Google, you know.

And as for Black Edtion vs Normal CPUs, as has been said, has an UNLOCKED multiplier. Kinda wish you'd pay attention to my answer to the same question you posted here :P Makes it very easy to OC.

haha okay sorry. hmmm so i cannot oc the 1055T without unlocking it’s multiplier then? Btw what issit about the coolermaster elite 310 that makes it so popular ah? Nearly every shop is using tat in their bundles… Btw if i wanna get good sounds should i buy a better speaker or should i upgrade my sound card?

That's the best for its price range. [elite 310]

The rest within that price or could be higher, have the fan at the front instead.(which is useless)

But its not as good as those 100+.

You will most probably be changing it in future anyway, so if you got the cash, upgrade it before buying.

Can OC, just that you need a board capable of increasing Base Clock very high. Quite a lot of boards can't do that. Unlocked multipliers just make it EASY.

I dunno why Elite 310 more popular. My Elite 334 is pretty much tool-less and has excellent cooling capacity even though it doesn't have a fan at the side panel. Actually, in most cases, a side panel fan makes airflow WORSE. Best to use a fan over the graphics card. A dedicated sound card is usually not worth the money if you don't have good speakers. Integrated sound has progressed a lot. So buy good speakers first.

hey guys can explain to me what’s the differences between the Core 2 Quad Q9400 Quad core processor and the i5 750 processor other than the fact the core 2 quad is LGA775 and don’t have turbo boost. But other than tat are their performance level the same? How does the Intel quad core processors compare to their AMD counterparts?
