Hi all. I have some networking issues and I hope I can find some
solutions here.
I am subscribed to singnet but my new house only has a phone
socket at the 1st floor and wireless signal cannot reach the 3rd
floor.
I've though of some solutions.
1. buy repeater - I heard they are not very reliable and my ADSL
wireless router doesnt support WDS which also means i need new
modem/router
2Homeplug- this will be neat but there are many users, 2 pc and
2 lappy in different rooms so i'll probably need a few (can i have
this configuration? modem-->Homeplug (1st floor --> homeplug
(3rd floor) --> wireless router?)
3. Switch to Starhub- have to find people to transfer plan -
waste money
4. Lay telephone - unsightly
