lol whats the dif between caviar black and green? O.o hm.. monitor size would like one that would let the system last me about 3 years , whats the dif between i5 and i7? are there major differences?
also , are there any differences between the

4GB OCZ Obsidian 1600MHz and the Team Xtreem LV 1600MHz?

btw , will the CoolerMaster Mystique 632 case be able to fit all this?

the diff betn black and green would be the speed (like how fast ur OS boot up or when transferring files)

for ram get team xtreem, OCZ very ex :(

My suggestion was merely that: a suggestion. You can mix and match companents with whatever you want. So go ahead, you can change that if you want. And about the PSU, you don't have to change PSU if you want to change hard drives. The PSU should last you 5 years. It's also backed by a 5=year warranty.

oh okay thanks , how long will this build last? i also heard that monitor affects its life too... also , about how much will this cost?

Quite some time. 3-4 years is my guess.

ASUS P7P55D-E + Intel Core i5 750 $560

Cooler Master Hyper 212+ $59

Team Xtreem 1600MHz LV CL7 $199

Seasonic M12II 620W $135

1TB Western Digital Caviar Black $145

ASUS EAH5850 $419

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OEM Edition $179

I can't find the Mystique casing on any shop's pricelist. Unless you have one. Yes, it will fit.

Monitor, I'm not sure. Go for 24" if you can.

The Blackline may not fit the 5970. Do check on that before purchasing.

Where did you get the PCThemes pricelist?

Ooooo. Triple channel? That's for i7 + X58. That's expensive.

Just use this:

AMD Athlon Phenom X4 955 + GA M790FXTA-UD5 ~$541
Team Elite DDR3-1333 2x2gb ~$172
Western Digital Carvier Black 1TB ~$149
LG DVD Writer ~$35
Seasonic M12ii 620w ~$135
Sapphire 5850 ~$419
Casing ~$100
Total ~$1538

Toss in the OS ($179) and monitor ($200-$300) and it's about $2k.

OS price is a bit off I guess...

Win 7 Home Premium x64 OEM retails for $158 at VideoPro...

Get the dimensions of the GPU, and then the casing you want to buy.

You can also check on other forums like Overclock.net, find out from the vast number of members there if a 5970 will get into the casing. So many people with so many different hardware configurations there - you're bound to get an answer.
