SpecOps87 SG Dear all...I've got a noob question. Was using my Western Digital Elements 320GB 2.5" Ext.HDD on my MacBook and as I was shifting my laptop, it suddenly just got disconnected.The MacBook flashed the sign saying that improper disconnect has been detected and after that I tried to reconnect it but it can't detect it. I shifted to using my windows desktop and it fails as well. Any suggestion as to how to remedy the situation? Really need help as the HDD is not mine but my younger brother's and he's got some of his assignments inside.Many ThanksSpecOps87
SpecOps87 SG Just to add...my system is able to detect it when its connected and even have the Autoplay popup....and it shows it My Computers.But after that...nothing.
lifeisgood9989 SG your hdd might have been corrupted. try this: start>run and type compmgmt.mscunder the storage, look for disk management and see if your hdd is detected.
