XP runs pretty well on 2GB. Ir runs well on 512MB even.

I have no idea, but you are SERIOUSLY better off getting a new com altogether. A complete CPU without monitor and OS will cost about $350-$500 depending on parts. Even the lowest end Pentium Dual Core pwns the crap out of Pentium D
