these quintessential 90s action dramas?
Characteristics of the Quintessential 90s action drama
serial
-the lead is always a macho looking guy(usually an ex convict,a guy
framed by his friends or the establishment,a former member of the
military or law enforcement agencies,he is usually buff and
ruggedly handsome(not fag-gotly looking like Korean's Rain and
other fag-gotly pretty boys. He is seen as sort of a Robin Hood and
is always fighting for justice)
-He always has a sidekick and the sidekick won't be such an
impressive physical specimen, but he makes up for his lack of brawn
with brains,wits and humour.All in all,a lovable character.There
will be quite a few occasions when the sidekick saves the lead's
ass.
-lots of well endowed babes especially blonde ones(whether during
beach scenes which there are aplenty or otherwise)
-the delineation between good and bad guys is very clear. The good
guys always win in the end.
