smoking in their shop doesnt mean they arent good at wat they do
man.
i dun tink a second hand ball saves much. if u buy the
package,
example: $165 for package, against 2nd hand ball, $30.
pay for redrilling, up to $40. thats $70. need a bag? lets say a
lousy one (unless u wanna start like me, use a old travel bag)
another $25? thats $95 so far. a pair of shoes? the idea is to get
a better pair yeah? a good pair costs at least $150? in the
meantime? get a zeta striker? u may save like 20-30 if u get the
zeta, but as a start i prefer,
buy the package, talk to the driller, know him. and his methods.
see if he is interested in ur business. best if u have a friend who
knows abit more about bowling, see if the driller knows wat he is
doing ie: measuring span, thumb size etc. usually if u get 2nd hand
balls the driller aint too keen on them. esp if u havent been to
him b4.
i find the extra 20-30 is used as a base to invest in the driller.
a better bowler-driller relationship provides for a better bowling
experience.
PS: i tink ken sucks, relative to wat ding says. over priced,
arrogant, and paul hangs around. better pray u have a face he likes
if paul is there.
