How to view and write Chinese Vista

Please advise on how to write and view Chinese word in Vista operating system. Shoud we need to do some setting as Window XP. Thanks

Control Panel >> Regional and Language Options >> "Keyboard and languages" tab

>> Click on "Change Keyboads" >> A new window (Text Services and Input langauge) will pop out.

Under General tab, Installed services ... click on the "Add" button. Select on "Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin IME" and click 'Ok'

Go on to 'Langauge Bar' Tab, select "docked in the taskbar"

Now it is done, u can switch between chinese and english text typing ...

Yes, i am able to read and input Chinese words, But still having diffculties to view Chinese words while installing Chinese software. The step by step guides are not appearing in Chinese words.

Could someone tell me how should fix this. Do we need to instore language packs but I suppose the Vista stored the language pack by default.

I was tried to install Sina UC 2009 ( U can search and download from their web site in China ) and let us know if you have no probelm in installing,

first option on the tab, set to chinese prc or singapore version of chinese also can. simplified chinese.

after that they will prompt u to restart.
