Hi.. I have a notebook that i use for my poly education related
stuf and for personal notebook at home. Usually,
I'll charge my notebook and use it at the same time at home.
My cousin once told me, that I should not use my notebook and
charging it at the same time as it'll reduce the lifespan / spoil
the battery easily. Instead, he told me that I should removet the
battery then connect my notebook to the power point straight if I
want to use it for long period (in this case, the notebook will act
sth like desktop)
Is it true? Any side effect if I keep doing it? Or
should I just charge and use it at the same time like a lot of
people do? Hope that my question is clear enough...

Yah, its true.
I once supported a school IT environment and those teachers
don't listen one. Always charge their laptop and using it at the
same it.
In the end, a lot of them got battery spoil. Meaning, the
battery may be fully charged but can only last for 1hr or less.
It happens usually when the battery is merely 1 yr old.
