Acer Gemstones giving a different impression now... in my class
of Acer and HP/Compaq laptops...
HP/Compaq fared badly! 1 dv6000 had a screen leak within 6months
of use? and they claimed it was out of warranty until my friend
kbkp and they waive it off.
And its my case of Compaqv3700 with software problem, then
motherboard and finally LCD screen.
For now, the Acer Gemstones worked pretty well...no body went to
Service Centre yet... the most they did was reformat.
i agree with you. the gemstone series are giving the pavilion
series a run for it's $.
it's sleek, good built quality.
