hi, im currently registered with singnet, and was given the
2wire 2700HG modem/wlan router.
i wanted to change the encryption method from the original WEP
open to a WPA-PSK, which i did yesterday via the direct modem
portal, http://gateway.2wire.net
after which, i was unable to access the internet. under the
network connections tab in windows, i have changed the connection
settings saved for my modem "2wire503", from the previous WEP
setting i saved, to a WPA personal, and the encryption is of the
TKIP type.
i was able to connect to the router, but am unable to connect to
the internet, even though the status lights on the modem show that
my DSL is connected and working fine, and that i am connected to
the internet.
on windows, it tells me that i am "connected with limited or no
access".
i am unable to get back to the modem portal page and reset the
settings
simply cuz i lost the connection -.-
i am using 32bit windows vista home premium, build 6000.
