The camera is alright only in good sunlight. It's not even as
good as a 3.2 mega pix cybershot years ago.
The browser is awesome on the huge screen but it doesn't offer
built in flash 10 support. Rumoured Skyfire browser will offer that
soon. Internet speed on wifi and 3G is really quick.
It's quite easy to navigate with the touch screeen and type
stuff but its definately not as responsive as the iphone. But I can
live with that.
Video playback, esp if you get the latest copy of Core media
player is exceptional. Nothing comes close. It thrashes the iphone
in this category. The HD's resolution is 2.5 TIMES the iphone.
As for apps, plenty of apps for Windows Mobile 6 around. Many
for Windows Mobile 5 are also compatitble.
After a few charges, the phone can last 3 days of moderate use.
I.e some phone calls, surfing and watching videos.
There's built in threaded sms. And download the free Live
messenger to make it the complete messaging device.
TouchFlo is stunning.
Some people have even started modding the Android to work on the
HD.
It's a great phone if you're a geek, or into watching movies on
the go.
Only complaint maybe that for a beginer its not exactly
user-friendly at the start. You have to get used to it. Depends on
what you're looking for. If you're looking for powerful hardware
its the HD. If not the iphone is a great alternative.
