how to config this setup??

hello, i will like to know how to config the setting for this system- i'm using ide harddisc,1sata dvd rw and i have addiional ide dvd rom but when i plug in the ide harddisc with the ide dvd rom the system show only the dvd rom not the ide harddisc. the harddisc jumper is set to master and the ide dvd rom is set to slave but i have this problem.no problem with the sata dvd rw .(system can detect) can the pros here pls enlight on the setting for ide harddisc to pair with ide dvd rom and sata dvd rw.thank you.

Try setting up the optical drive as the master and the HDD as the slave. And if you mean that you don't see the HDD on My Computer, be sure to format it if you haven't done so.

what i mean is that when i start my com i go to bios setting the primary master not detected . i try to set the ide dvd rom to master then hard disc to slave cannot start. any other way to resolve?

check the bios settings to see if both IDE controller had been enabled. remove the sata dvd rw and try to setup with only IDE hdd and dvd rom. with this method it will be much easier to trouble shoot.
