I remember there is only a few blocks of flats/condo at Bukom. With a swimming pool where the expat's wives was sunbathing nude....

If there is chalets, its only for those folks that live and work on Bukom.

Why would anyone want to chalet there?

I think you are mistaken.

Pulau Bukom is a High Security Area, and those very nice chalets there are only for Shell employees. The place is not open for the general public btw.

I just went there on monday. Lol yep its not open to public. My cousin work there so we had fun and some relatives gathering there. not much though...I went there almost every year. Its under shell company. Need take ferry from pasir panjang terminal its a 10-15 min ferry ride.
