Hmm. I must have been out of Singapore for too long.
Ah well, unless they were born into famous families, everybody
would have had a "before they were famous" phase and anything would
have been possible then.
Not that it's necessarily all that glam anyway. I was at
university with Radha Mitchell (Pitch Black, Thick As Thieves) and
asked her out for lunch one day. God knows what happened but
we were walking down the street and she started singing Animal
Crackers. She was nice and all, but I thought it was all a
bit weird and never asked her out again. Then she went to
Hollywood. Who was to know?
