can't logon to online game

coldzero SG

I cant login to this online game, Atlantica, and I'm pretty sure its my connection problem. I'm connecting to the internet using a D-link ADSL2+ modem model: DSL 2540T. I've off all my firewalls then I've know to operate on my computer when I still can't logon to the game. Any solutions?

Just two questions here:

1. Are you able to connect to the game servers via another computer on your home network?

2. What about via a computer on another network (from a friend's house or school, for example)?

I dont have a second computer at home. My friends can connect to the game though.

Any particular event that occured before you were not able to connect to the game servers? Or were you unable to connect to the servers right from the start?

So, you have disabled all the firewalls including Windows Firewall, any third-party software firewall installed on your system as well as the firewall on your router (if you're using one)?

coldzero SG

Nope. This is the first time I've been playing this game and I can't logon already. I usually dont have problems logging on to other games.

I've also disable all my firewalls. Still can't help though. I'm using a D-link ADSL2+ router, model: DSL 2540T.

Hmm...it's still kinda vague here. Do you receive any error codes when you try to login with the servers? Did the game application even run? And I just want to confirm that you have switched off the firewall on your router - did you? (Do note that it's good security practice to have your router firewall up - you may want to re-enable and configure it once we got this issue settled.)

I am able to run the game. However, after I've tried my user and password and click login, only this appear, "You are requesting authenication from the login server" and just stays there for ages and I can't login to the game. I dont think there's firewall for my router. If there is, how do I access it? I've disabled all the router I've know to run on my computer.

I do not think it's a router issue.

Try to run directly via cable connected to your modem

coldzero SG

I dont have a modem. The router is acting as my modem too already.
