supporting older games

hi all. is it possible for a newer version of windows to support a game that was made for a much older version? more specifically, i want to support rayman gold, which can only be support on windows 95/98 if i'm not wrong, on windows vista.

i'm willing to purchase a newer copy of the game if it's able to be supported, but i can't find it anywhere.

Try running it in compatibility mode first (Right-click the application file / shortcut > Properties > Compatibility), and if it still doesn't work, try running it with VMware.
