MSN 7 to Latest Version of MSN?

Hey all...I've been using MSN 7 with no problems, so I did not upgrade to MSN Live at all. I've been thinking of upgrading to the latest version of MSN to allow sharing of files with my friends (it was a hassle to be doing the sharing manually when the connection fails)

However, I've chat logs and some emoticons which are in my older version. Any way to save them? Do I install the new Messenger Live over the old MSN 7 and nothing would go wrong?

I'm not sure where you would find your emoticons, but regarding chat logs, you can check the settings in your MSN 7 on where it stores the log files and copy the log files out manually to serve as a backup.
