Glossy screen not for prolong usage. I had a Samsung 2232GW (22
inch widescreen) which I bought last year, after using it for 4
months, I realised my eyes got dryer and hurts. I wanted to get an
antiglare filter for it to reduce the glare, but they don't have
reliable brands in production, ended getting a crappy brand
Viewguard from USA, which I had to freight back to get refund.
I have since changed to a LG 20 inch (4:3) matte screen and
added a 3M antiglare filter. Which I think it's redundant,
because matte screen are not as glaring as the glossy screen,
though glossy screen is glaring but it does have sharper images.
These days I only use my glossy screen for viewing DVD movies.
**The 3M antiglare filter cost almost 1/2 the price of the
monitor.
