I have stopped gaming in the year 2001. The era of the Geforce
2. Desktop was over for me and it was allt he way laptops till now.
But last i know during those times, it was like Vram had to be high
to support higher resolution.
Intel x3100 is not a deidicated GPU, it is a IGP which shares
system ram. so increasing it will be like increasing the vram of
the system too right?
reason for me asking.
The amount of memory the integrated graphics card uses doesn't
automatically increase when you add more memory to your system -
you'll need to configure it via the BIOS.
But as I have mentioned, it will only bring about a slight
boost, if not none, to its performance since the bottleneck in this
case is probably not memory but its graphics processing
capability.
