laptop screen auto close

hey guys

recently this problem has been coming up...the screen jus goes off but the system is still running...anyone knows the problem????i reformat my laptop ytd but today still got the problem...btw i using ausu g1s...anyone using same model have the same problem???

At which stage does it goes off? When Windows is still starting or after Windows have started?

When did you start noticing this problem?

How heavy is your laptop usage? How many hours per day?

mmm...everytime i use halfway the screen will jus goes off and cannot on again...randomly one sometime when watching movie half way it goes off but never straight away after start up...i can still use it normally

then after the lcd goes off i have to switch off the laptop then after which it cannot be on again mus wait after a few hours

this problem started i think last 2 weeks...one day i use hmm maybe 8hrs...

oh ya one more thing to add...i cannot adjust the screen brigthness also...its quite dim now

I suspect that the LCD screen might be having issues. Or the graphics card could be having issues.

You will need to bring it to Asus for them to check... to make sure that they are functioning well.

got possibilty that it is too hot or wat?

Too hot would cause a shut down or restart of computer to prevent damage to hardware, which shouldn't affect your LCD screen or graphics card... unless other hardware is failing as well...
