which OS u using?
basically, for windows, you'll need to have "File and Printer
Sharing" in your network connection properties (although I seem to
recall last time don't need to have this but can still transfer
file from 1 pc to another 
).
Then you need to assign one folder as assessible by other users
(i.e can write/save to that folder)
something like that lah... 
Which step u don't understand? Ask and the experts lurking
