With the latest inputs and after discussion within the committee comprising of Deamon, Jordan and myself, we have decided to push back the date of the tourne...

Hahaha! Forum slightly slow these days....

Luck is preparation meeting opportunity Larry Mathews

1. Prepare all bowling equipment. This includes cleaning and preparing ball surfaces. And also cleaning and replacing tape in thumb hole.

2. Organize your bowling supplies. Make sure you know where everything is. Looking for something you need during competition and not finding it can cause unnecessary stress. Get in a habit of putting your things in the same place.

3. Eat a good dinner the night before your competition. Try to eat before 8:00 P.M.

4. Get a good nights rest. Make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep or whatever you are accustom to that allows you to perform at your best. Invest in a set of earplugs. Hotel guests can be noisy!

5. Eat a good breakfast but don't overeat. Try to eat 2 hours before your tournament starts.

6. Get to the bowling center early. You don't want to be rushing around before the tournament. This can cause you to be unsettled and unfocussed.

7. Remember it is completely normal to be nervous or anxious. Most of these feelings will subside once you get started.

8. Stay objective . Throw a shot. Take a read. Make the adjustment and you'll do fine!

Cool

Goodie Bag update

Today went to see the sponsor and got the following:

1)20 x seminar bags
2)3 x webcams
3)pens
4)some note pads

As for how the bags shld be distributed, i let prataman have the final say as he is the organise.

I have set aside 2 webcams for david and jordan. Thus there is 1 more webcam left. How shld we give away this 3rd webcan? Perhaps the next person who organise a bowling tourny for this forum gets it? Any suggestions frm the floor?

Update on goodie bags:

Got the bags liao. They are at Tom's place. Next week, i be going down to the sponsor to get some smaller accessories.

Prataman is arranging in such a way that none of the participants are going back empty handed, but if there is such a situation, my apologies as that is the qty i could get.

For bowlers, pls bring a little less things on that day. I can tell u, the goodie bag's a little big though. Of couse, ppl who drive will not be affected. Laughing

See u all on feb 15th!
