Help with router

Help! I cant seem to connect to my wireless connection. Always seem to show as aquiring network address. What shld i do?

Does the same happen to other computers?

Do you set it to automatically get an IP address from the router or did you manually set an IP address yourself?

Did you enter the correct password?

Is your wireless network name very common? Names like Netgear and Linksys are very common.

onli 1 laptop was using the wireless. my cpu is connected and have acess to the net.

password is correct and my router name isnt common

i have no idea about the ip question though. not really into computer stuff.

Are you using XP or Vista?
