Before we continue, may I know are you using PHP and MySQL or
other technologies in your project? And, it will be easier for me
to understand if you just paste the code for your cart here or PM
it to my inbox.
As for the greeting message, assuming you're using PHP and have
created a login form via Dreamweaver, look out for this line:
//declare two session variables and assign them
$_SESSION['MM_Username'] =
$loginUsername;
$_SESSION['MM_UserGroup'] = $loginStrGroup;
Take note of the name of the session variable that stores the
username, and insert it in the HTML code like this:
<p>Welcome,
<?=$_SESSION['MM_Username']?>.</p>
And you can go on adding if() conditional statements to display
something else if the user is not logged in but that's for another
day.
I'm not sure if
this is what you're looking for in regards to creating a
breadcrumb trail via Dreamweaver, but for me, I would code it by
hand as it's simpler and more flexible. Drop me a message anytime
you need help with this.
