hi i've been offered by singnet for recontract. i got some
technical question to ask here.
i'm currently using 3500kbps Broadband Unlimited.
Question :
1. is it the same with 3Mbps Unlimited offered by Singnet?
2. one of them is written Free ADSL 2 + Ethernet Modem
(free 1 mth) with $32.90 /mth. what is ADSL 2?? hardware? my
current modem is Aztech brand? is tat considered Ethernet Modem?
should i get this offer or choose the one without modem and free 2
mths? if i choose the first one, then in the end i have 2
modems?
3. another offer is Free ADSL 2 + Integrated Wireless Modem with
$ 36.90 /mth. my home pc has no wireless. if i choose this one, can
i still connect using USB cable??
1. extra 500kbps. Norm not much difference.
2.If your modem is still in good condition, no troubles
switching on/off, no flickering lights,or not being able to surf
the net, still quite young <2 yrs, i think free 2
months is ok.
3. Yes u can still connect via usb.
No wireless does not mean you cannot have a wireless
modem.
Having a wireless modem though has it perks. which is
when your friend comes over,with a laptop, he is able to
surf via wireless. Although people might piggy back your
connection if it is not properly secured.
1 mre thing. Do you intend to get a laptop?
