I think that to play safe, is to get an ext hdd to back up
everything, in case sth really goes wrong.
ext HDD that are powered by electric adaptors(nt usb powered)
cost quite cheap, around 99$ for 160gb
If your internal HDD reallly spoils, it isn't expensive also, i
got my 500gb for $199, but it is a SATA HD, solid state harddrives
are more durable to shocks, but not too much shocks
My old computer have screeching sound from the HDD when i start
last time, really scary cos sound like things rubbing against each
other, but after reformatting it seems fine, weird, as it should
not have solve the problem.
you should get an ext HDD to backup, incase ur old HDD cannot be
accessed
