Recently i started playing half life 2, while the orginal runs
fine on my com. their expansion episode 1 and 2 lags very badly.
all the games are installed on the same com.
i orginally used a 1280x1024 res to play, but it lagged so badly
that i need to change my res to 1024x768.
i don't know is my graphic card too lousy or is it my ram too
small.
i using geforce 6600 with the latest driver
1 gig ram
over 80gig hard drive space free.
when i check the settings in the game, it put all the highest
spects as my recommed settings.
like shadow reflection, high
character detail, high
i tried adjusting these spects but i does't help with the
lag.
so i was thinking is it my ram not high enough ?
will adding more ram smoothen my game play?
if so how do i see which type of ram i am using ?
i hear from my frd got wad DDR 2 DDR .
can anyone help me ? :(
