help! hardware malfunction?!

hi. my sony laptop is less than a year old and it has been giving me problems. sometimes, it will black out and come back like a 15 seconds later. any idea whats wrong?

today, i got a shock of my life because, while i was using it, suddenly, the whole thing turned to a blue screen and it said something like 'hardware malfunction' and asking me to contact the hardware manufacturer and something that the system halted. what is wrong?

The best is to bring back to Sony for checking. I think the graphics card might be on its way to heaven.
