my former acer is in it's 4th year, and it is still running
under the usage of my sis, however, the quality of acer is
questionable. Shortly after getting it for 6months, nearly all it's
keys are balding. The battery died. and i have to change the
adaptor.
my former sony, is in it's 2nd year running now. So far, there
are no major issues, except, the touchpad went dead after about
8months or so. I had it replaced of course, and i was delighted to
know that sony changed my screen for me too. However, i am
starting to doubt this laptop is going to last long, for the the
top part of the screen has greyish patches, signs of dying
pixles.
I am so far quite happy with the performance of my Hp. No
major issues, except OS issues which vista users will experience.
But i would caution anyone who wishes to brush their keyboards...
(shalln say much =p)
My acer keyboard is worse...only after 3 months of medium
usage,the "A" key word is totally gone while the "S" and "N" are
halfway through
