Try looking in The Quarantined File section. And mind giving more details how it was disabled like whether it is through a prompt or a manually edited option?

If you need to get the blocked program running urgently, you can try re-installing the firewall. Remember to do a backup of the current configuration beforehand under the Miscellaneous section in case you would like to revert to the current settings in the future.

Mine only got 1 - 2 prompts max for each program, and it only occur once (as it is "learning"). How about updating to the latest stable version?

For #4, maybe you forgot to click on the second Apply button (the first one for adding the entry), which I once did. I've tried blocking Microsoft's IP range (assuming /16), pinging microsoft.com before and after, and it even signed me off Live Messenger.

The file is not inside quarantine section. I disabled it through prompt option. Didn't really read what the firewall was asking and disabled it. Just power up my com and it asked me the question again. Heng i didn't tick the remember me option previously. Guess next time if give the wrong choice must restart com?

Not really. You can also try looking for the block entry under Defense+ > Advanced > Computer Security Policy and edit it as necessary.

Am using the latest stable version. I will be forced to switch to Sygate if the prompts don't lessen. It's a bit too heavy on 256MB machine also.

Does the prompts repeat for the same application? If so, the ones that repeat came mainly from the firewall, Defense+ or both? And what modes are they on currently? Mine's Train With Safe Mode and Clean PC Mode for the firewall and the Defense+ module, by default, respectively.

Yes, same application. Defense+ has been disabled... so now it seems that it's just the firewall.

Setting is set to Train with Safe Mode

I just randomly connect to one of those fake antispyware websites... and it works. Note down IP address, cleared cache, type in IP address of that rogue website... still in.

Works with both proxy and without proxy...

I'm not going to try the Microsoft /16 subnet... Laughing

Just to confirm, the computer in question is frequently flooded with prompts from the firewall which has a blue border?

And connect as in? Ping?

Connect through a browser to the site.

Orange ones are actually coming from Defense+.

And try pinging and see if it bypasses the firewall.

Don't tweak Windows too much. I revert back to default Windows settings and it's working OK.

So does the blocking.

Now me is going to find one that doesn't depend on Windows... because of my itchy hands.
